Point Cook Central Sharks Banners - Celebrate Every Sharks Milestone

From debut games to 200-game legends in Point Cook's fastest-growing football community, FootyBanners.com has you covered. Our custom footy banners are designed to honour the milestones that matter most to Sharks players, families, and supporters.

Simple to Order

Choose from a Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final Banner to suit the occasion. For individual milestones, simply provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Liam Carter, #9, 100 Games. Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper - tough enough for any blustery Melbourne afternoon on the Point Cook sidelines.

Two Players, One Banner

Two Sharks reaching the same milestone on the same day? Our Two Player Banner lets you celebrate them both at once. Both players must share the same milestone, and you'll need each player's name and guernsey number. A great way to mark a big moment for the club.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations

Celebrate the whole squad with a Team Banner featuring 3 to 6 players. Add a powerful top-line message like "Sharks - Western Region Premiers" and make the moment one the club will always remember. Perfect for finals campaigns and milestone rounds.

Wall Keepsake Banners

Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang one in the clubrooms, your garage, or your games room as a permanent tribute to what it means to be a Point Cook Central Shark.

Grand Final Banners

When the Sharks make it to the big dance, the banner needs to match the moment. Our Grand Final Banners are available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes, fully customised with your chosen top and bottom text. Contact us for design advice and we'll help make it special.

About Point Cook Centrals Sharks Sporting Club

Origins and Founding

The Point Cook Centrals Sharks Sporting Club was founded in October 2003 as a junior club, serving the rapidly growing suburb of Point Cook in Melbourne's southwest. The club later expanded to include senior football teams and has grown in parallel with one of Australia's fastest-developing communities. The Sharks compete in the Western Football Netball League (WFNL), formerly known as the Western Region Football League (WRFL), representing the Point Cook Centrals area of the broader Point Cook precinct.

Club History

The Sharks built steadily through junior competition before expanding into senior grades. The club achieved a landmark result in 2022, winning the WRFL Division 2 senior men's premiership with a perfect season - going through the entire year undefeated. The 2022 premiership represented a historic milestone for the club and was the product of several years of development across both the junior and senior programs. The club has continued to compete in the WFNL, with a focus on building depth and pathway programs for the next generation of footballers in the area.

Home Ground

The Sharks play their home games at a purpose-built community oval within the Point Cook Centrals sporting precinct. The ground forms part of the broader sporting infrastructure that has grown alongside the residential development in Point Cook. The club is a central fixture in the local community sporting landscape, with facilities shared across football, netball, and other sporting programs for families in the area.

Community and Programs

The Point Cook Centrals Sharks Sporting Club runs football and netball programs across junior and senior age groups. The club's junior program covers multiple age brackets from the youngest age groups through to Under-18, providing a full pathway for players growing up in the suburb. The club has a particularly strong junior focus, running competitions at junior level through the WFNL, and operates a women's netball program - known as the SeaSnakes - alongside the football teams. The club actively uses social media to keep its community connected throughout the season.

Point Cook

Point Cook is a large suburb in the City of Wyndham, located approximately 22 kilometres southwest of Melbourne's CBD. With a population of 66,781 at the 2021 census, it is one of the most populous suburbs in Victoria and one of Australia's fastest-growing communities. The area has undergone rapid residential development since the early 2000s and has a young, family-oriented demographic that strongly supports local sporting clubs like the Sharks.

The Sharks compete in the Western Football Netball League and call Point Cook home. Find the club on Instagram and at pointcookcentralssportingclub.com.

  • Footy Banner Information

    📄 Material & Construction

    • Premium Coated Paper (1.6 m high) printed with permanent, waterproof inks—won’t run or fade, even in wet weather.

    • Eco-friendly & Recyclable: All banners are fully recyclable when the celebration is over.

    • Durable weatherproof sports banners printed on heavy-duty coated paper - these banners are not made of crepe paper.

    🔧 Preparation & Run-Through Setup - Expert instructions for break-through milestone banners.

    • Rigging Your Banner

      • Tape broomsticks or PVC pipe to each edge to keep the banner taut.

      • This creates a professional “run-through” presentation for game-day moments.

    • Creating the Break-Through Slits

      • Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.

      • Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.

    💡 Tips & Tricks

    • Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.

    • Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.

  • Return and Refund Policy

As each banner is custom made, once ordered, we cannot return them.

Please check the details you submit for printing carefully, as we will make the banner using the exact spelling and information you provide.
