Banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty, weatherproof paper, built to last through a bitter Melbourne winter at Seebeck Oval.

Team Banners for Group Celebrations
The Team Banner option accommodates 3 to 6 players, ideal for end-of-season nights and squad presentations. A top-line message like "Rowville Hawks - Seebeck Oval Proud" sets the tone perfectly. A brilliant way to recognise the team together.

About Rowville Hawks
Origins and Founding
The Rowville Football Club, known as the Hawks, was founded in 1964 in the Melbourne suburb of Rowville, in Melbourne's outer east. The club played its first finals game in 1967 and quickly established itself as a competitive force in the Eastern Football League. In 1972, the club began construction of its home pavilion at Seebeck Oval, which was officially opened in May 1977 after significant volunteer effort and council support.
Club History
The Rowville Hawks have won six senior premierships in the Eastern Football League: 1980, 1981, 2002, 2003, 2012, and 2023. The back-to-back flags of 1980 and 1981 under senior coach Len Hall were the club's first, while the remarkable 2003 season saw both the seniors and colts go through the season undefeated. The 2023 premiership was the Hawks' most recent, confirming their status as one of the EFL Premier Division's elite clubs. Rowville's junior program, which relocated to Eildo Parade in 1987, has grown into one of the largest junior clubs in Melbourne and has been the foundation for producing a string of VFL and AFL-level players. Notable alumni include Dylan Moore (Hawthorn), Paul Seedsman (Collingwood and Adelaide Crows), Hayden Crozier (Fremantle and Western Bulldogs), Dylan Clarke (Essendon), and Ryan Bastinac (North Melbourne and Brisbane Lions).
Home Ground
The Hawks play their home games at Seebeck Oval in Rowville. The ground features a modern pavilion and playing surface, and serves as the hub for the club's senior, reserves, and women's programs. The junior section operates from Eildo Parade, providing a separate but connected base for the club's youngest participants.
Community and Programs
Rowville fields senior men's, senior women's, reserves, and colts teams, alongside its large junior program. The club is an important part of the local community in Melbourne's south-east growth corridor and has been recognised for its inclusive programs and volunteer culture. In 1991 the club became a limited license club and gained a full license in 1993, allowing it to grow its facilities and support base further.
Rowville
Rowville is a suburb in Melbourne's outer east, located approximately 27 kilometres from the CBD in the City of Knox. With a population of around 42,000 residents, Rowville is a predominantly residential suburb known for its leafy streets, strong school community, and excellent access to Ferntree Gully Road and Stud Road. The suburb borders Knox City Shopping Centre and is a key hub in the Knox area. Rowville has grown significantly since the 1960s and 1970s and remains a tight-knit community that strongly supports its local sporting clubs.
The Hawks compete in the Eastern Football Netball League and call Seebeck Oval home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for match day updates.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
