South Bunbury Tigers Banners - Honour Every Milestone
When a South Bunbury Tigers player reaches a milestone worth celebrating, FootyBanners.com is your go-to for a personalised, high-quality banner. Whether it is a debut, a 50-game milestone, or a grand final run, we create custom banners for the Tigers that make every occasion unforgettable.
Simple to Order
Order a Single Player Banner and just supply the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Jake Morrison, #12, 100 Games. Your banner is printed with permanent, weatherproof inks on heavy-duty paper built to handle everything from pre-game chaos to a scorching WA afternoon at Hands Oval.
Two Players, One Banner
Celebrating two Tigers on the same day? A Two Player Banner lets you honour both players at once. Simply provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the milestone being celebrated - both players must be reaching the same milestone. A quality keepsake that recognises them both in style.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option accommodates 3 to 6 players on a single banner. Use the top line to set the tone - something like "South Bunbury Tigers - A Great Year On and Off the Field" - and list each player with their name and guernsey number below. A brilliant way to celebrate the whole group together.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, our Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper using waterproof inks - perfect for hanging in the Tigers clubrooms, a supporter's garage, or the games room at home. A lasting tribute for any South Bunbury Tigers fan.
Grand Final Banners
Our Grand Final Banners come in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with fully customised top and bottom text. Whether the South Bunbury Tigers Football Club are running through at JE Hands Memorial Oval or charging out at a finals venue, our banners deliver maximum impact on the big day. About South Bunbury Tigers Football Club
Origins and Founding
The South Bunbury Football Club was founded in May 1897 at a meeting at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Bunbury, making it one of Western Australia's oldest football clubs. The club adopted its Tigers nickname from the reputation of the South Bunbury area as wild and inaccessible in the late 19th century, and it has carried that fierce identity ever since. The club's Latin motto, Cede Nullis - Yield to None - captures the competitive spirit that has driven the Tigers for well over a century.
Club History
South Bunbury joined the South West Football League (SWFL) in 1957 and has since accumulated 17 SWFL premierships. Across all competitions, the club has claimed an extraordinary 46 senior premierships, placing it second nationally in all-time premierships behind only North (King Island). SWFL titles include 1959, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1984, 1985, 1988, 1989, 1993, 2002, 2016, 2024 and 2025. The 2024 premiership was particularly historic - South Bunbury completed an undefeated season before claiming the SWFL Grand Final at Hands Memorial Oval in October 2024, and the Tigers backed it up by winning the premiership again in 2025.
Home Ground
The Tigers play at JE Hands Memorial Park, known as Hands Oval, on Blair Street in South Bunbury. The ground is the premier football venue in the South West region and has hosted numerous SWFL finals and grand finals. Facility upgrades over the decades have kept Hands Oval one of the best regional grounds in Western Australia.
Community and Programs
South Bunbury Football Club is one of the largest sporting clubs in Western Australia, with an active junior development program that has produced state-level and elite players over its long history. The club runs senior and reserves competitions and maintains strong ties with the South Bunbury community through fundraising events, school partnerships, and family football programs.
South Bunbury
South Bunbury is a suburb of the City of Bunbury, situated approximately 170 kilometres south of Perth on Western Australia's South West coast. The suburb recorded a population of 8,810 at the 2021 census. Bunbury is the second-largest city in Western Australia and serves as the commercial hub of the South West, known for its dolphin encounters, Indian Ocean beaches, and its gateway position to the renowned Margaret River wine region.
The Tigers compete in the South West Football League and call JE Hands Memorial Park (Hands Oval), South Bunbury, home. Visit the club website for more information, follow them on Facebook, and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
