Strathfieldsaye Storm Banners - Celebrating Every Storm Milestone
Whether it's a junior milestone or a senior player's career achievement, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners that honour every Strathfieldsaye Storm moment. Each banner is tailored for the Storm, giving every celebration a standout and personal finish.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. Provide the player's name, surname, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Riley Anderson, #21, 100 Games. Storm banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, built for the cold Bendigo nights at Triple M Park.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Storm players reach the same milestone at the same game, our Two Player banner gives them both their moment in the spotlight. Provide each player's name, guernsey number, and the shared milestone for a quality keepsake they'll both value.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Our Team Banner option fits 3 to 6 players and is ideal for group milestones or end-of-season tributes. A top-line message like "Strathfieldsaye Storm - Premiers" captures everything a great season deserves. Go the Storm!
Wall Keepsake Banners
Available in Small, Medium, and Large, Wall Keepsake Banners are printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang your Storm banner in the clubrooms, games room, or garage as a lasting reminder of a proud Strathfieldsaye moment.
Grand Final Banners
Give the Strathfieldsaye Storm the grand final run-out they deserve with a fully customised banner. Available in 4.5m and 5.5m sizes with custom top and bottom text. Contact us for design guidance and to lock in your order.
About Strathfieldsaye Storm
Origins and Founding
The Strathfieldsaye Football Netball Club - known as the Storm - was formally established in 2007 to give the growing Strathfieldsaye community its own senior football and netball club. The club traces its roots to the Mandurang-Strathfieldsaye Junior Football Club, which was formed in 1978 to serve the district's increasing junior football population. That club competed in the Bendigo Junior Football League and was later renamed the Strathfieldsaye JFC around 2003. The Storm's full club history is documented on the club website.
Club History
The Storm played their first BFNL game on 11 April 2009 against Castlemaine at home, in front of a crowd of approximately 3,000, winning 6 of their first 7 matches. In 2013 the club made their first grand final but lost to Golden Square by 21 points. The breakthrough came in 2014, when the Storm claimed their inaugural BFNL senior premiership - bolstered by former St Kilda AFL stars Stephen Milne and Steve Baker. Milne kicked his 100th goal of the season during the grand final. In 2019, the club won a treble - the Seniors, Reserves and B Reserve premierships all in the same season. Notable alumni include Jack Ginnivan, who was drafted to Collingwood by Rookie Pick 13 in 2020 after his junior development at Strathfieldsaye.
Home Ground
The Storm play their home games at Triple M Park in Strathfieldsaye. The ground has been the club's home since its senior competition debut in 2009 and is the focal point of community football and netball in the eastern Bendigo district. The facility serves all grades of the club and was developed with support from the City of Greater Bendigo as part of the area's recreational infrastructure planning from 2004 onward.
Community and Programs
The Strathfieldsaye Football Netball Club fields teams across multiple grades in the Bendigo Football Netball League (BFNL) including senior men, reserves, B reserve and netball grades. The 2015 season was a landmark year when for the first time every grade of football and netball reached the BFNL grand finals. The club plays a vital role in the Strathfieldsaye community, which has experienced significant population growth since the mid-2000s, and continues to attract players from across the eastern Bendigo corridor.
Strathfieldsaye
Strathfieldsaye is a suburb in the City of Greater Bendigo, Victoria, located 9 kilometres south-east of Bendigo's CBD and approximately 147 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. According to the Strathfieldsaye Wikipedia article, the suburb recorded a population of 6,850 at the 2021 census. Established in the 1860s, the area has grown substantially in the 21st century and now forms part of Bendigo's expanding eastern residential corridor, neighbouring Mandurang, Junortoun and Kennington.
The Storm compete in the Bendigo Football Netball League (BFNL) and call Triple M Park, Strathfieldsaye home. Visit the club website or follow on Instagram for fixtures, results and club news.

-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
