Mundijong Centrals Banners - Celebrate at the Heart of the Club
Whether it's a player hitting a milestone or the team chasing a premiership, FootyBanners.com creates custom banners made for Mundijong Centrals. Show your Centrals players just how much their effort means to the whole community.
Simple to Order
Choose from Single Player, Two Player, Team, or Grand Final banner options. To personalise your order, provide the player's name, guernsey number, and milestone - for example, Ryan Mills, #16, 100 Games. Printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty weatherproof paper, your banner will hold up brilliantly through a blazing WA afternoon at the ground.
Two Players, One Banner
When two Centrals players hit the same milestone, a Two Player Banner is the perfect tribute. Provide both names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone and we'll create a quality keepsake banner they'll both be proud of.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Feature 3 to 6 players on a Team Banner and make the run-through one for the memory books. A top-line message like "Go Centrals!" or something personal to the team adds that extra touch of club pride on a big occasion.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks that stand the test of time. A Centrals keepsake banner is a proud addition to the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room at home.
Grand Final Banners
Make grand final day even bigger with a 4.5m or 5.5m banner featuring fully customised top and bottom text for the Mundijong Centrals Football Club. Contact us for design advice and let's create something the whole club will remember.
About Mundijong Centrals Football and Netball Club
Origins and Founding
Mundijong Centrals Football and Netball Club, known as the Blues, was established in 1909, with recorded games in Mundijong dating back as far as 1904. The club competed initially in the South Suburban Football Association and later in the Murray Districts Football Association before joining the Metropolitan Football League (MFL) in 1989. When the MFL became the Peel Football League in 1992, the Centrals were part of the founding competition - and went on to win the very first PFL premiership that year. Based at their ground in Mundijong, approximately 41 kilometres south-east of Perth, the Blues have been a fixture in South West football for well over a century.
Club History
Mundijong Centrals have claimed four Peel Football League premierships: 1992 (the inaugural PFL flag), 1999, 2000, and 2007. Their back-to-back flags in 1999 and 2000 marked a golden era for the club. The club has produced at least one AFL-listed player: Ben Newton, who played for both Port Adelaide and Melbourne. The Centrals have also operated a junior football program across youth age groups, with the Mundijong Centrals Junior Football Club supporting Auskick, junior, and youth competitions separately from the senior program. The club continues to field senior men's and netball teams as part of its broader sporting operation.
Home Ground
The Blues play at their home ground in the Mundijong township within the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale. The ground has been used by the club across many decades and continues to serve as the centre of football and community activities for the Mundijong area. Local politician Hugh Jones MLA has been a visible supporter of the club, including backing upgrades to the ground's facilities in recent years.
Community and Programs
Mundijong Centrals run both a senior football and netball program, with a separate junior club providing Auskick, junior, and youth competitions for younger players in the community. The club serves the Mundijong township and the broader rural-residential communities of the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale, including Byford, Serpentine, and surrounding areas. With over 110 years of history in the same community, the Centrals are one of the most enduring sporting institutions in Perth's south-east rural corridor.
Mundijong
Mundijong is an outer suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located 41 kilometres south-east of the Perth CBD in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale. Originally named Jarrahdale Junction, the area developed around the railway junction of the Jarrahdale-Rockingham line and the Perth-Bunbury government railway, which was built in 1893. With a population of around 1,232 people recorded at the 2016 Census, Mundijong is a small rural township surrounded by farmland and bushland on Perth's south-eastern fringe. The area is known for its semi-rural character and is part of one of the fastest-growing shires in Western Australia as the urban fringe expands southward from Byford.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
