Our banners are printed with permanent inks on heavy-duty paper designed to hold up in the blazing WA Kimberley heat, so the moment lasts well after the final siren.
Two Players, One Banner
Two Crows reaching the same milestone in the same game? Our Two Player Banner has them both covered. Simply provide both players' names, guernsey numbers, and the shared milestone, and we will create a quality banner worthy of the occasion.
Team Banners for Group Celebrations
Celebrating a group of 3 to 6 players? The Team Banner is the perfect solution. Feature each player's details alongside a top-line message like "Go Crows!" to rally the crowd and send the team out in style. A great keepsake for the whole squad.
Wall Keepsake Banners
Our Wall Keepsake Banners come in Small, Medium, and Large sizes, printed on thick recyclable paper with waterproof inks. Hang them in the clubrooms, the garage, or the games room to keep the Crows spirit alive long after match day.

About Waringarri Crows Football Club
Origins and Founding
The Waringarri Crows Football Club is based in the Waringarri Aboriginal community near Kununurra in the remote East Kimberley region of Western Australia. The club competes in the Northern Division of the East Kimberley Football League (EKFL), which was established in 1970 and is one of Australia's most geographically isolated Australian rules football competitions. The Crows represent the Waringarri community's deep connection to Australian football and have long been a cornerstone of the competition.
Club History
The Waringarri Crows are one of the EKFL's most celebrated clubs. Their most recent premiership came in 2025, when the Crows defeated the Ord River Magpies 16.2 (98) to 11.6 (72) in the Northern Division Grand Final - their first flag since 2016. The 2025 season was notable for the Crows' resilience: they scraped into the finals on percentage before defeating the Ord River Magpies in consecutive finals matches to claim the flag. The club has also fielded a women's team in the EKFL Senior Women North competition, reflecting a commitment to growing football across genders in the Waringarri community.
Home Ground
The Waringarri Crows play their home games at Kununurra Town Oval, the principal venue for EKFL Northern Division matches. The oval also serves as the grand final venue for the Northern Division, hosting the competition's most significant matches each season. Kununurra Town Oval is shared with other EKFL clubs including the Kununurra Demons and the Ord River Magpies.
Community and Programs
The Waringarri Crows are more than a football club - they are a community institution. The club is known for its passionate fan base and its strong cultural ties to the Waringarri Aboriginal community, and plays a vital role in providing sporting pathways for young Indigenous people in the East Kimberley. The EKFL has produced notable AFL talent including players who have progressed through to WAFL and AFL level, and the Crows have contributed to that pipeline by developing local players from an early age.
Kununurra
Kununurra is a town in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia, approximately 830 kilometres east of Broome and 3,100 kilometres north of Perth. It serves as the commercial and administrative hub of the East Kimberley, with a population of around 6,000 people, and is situated near the Ord River irrigation scheme. The area is known for its dramatic red rock landscape, the Mirima National Park, and as a base for exploring the broader Kimberley region. Football is a central part of community life in Kununurra, with EKFL matches drawing strong local support throughout the season.
The Crows compete in the East Kimberley Football League Northern Division and call Kununurra Town Oval home. Follow the Waringarri Crows on Facebook and follow them on Instagram for news and match day updates.

-
-
Creating the Break-Through Slits
-
Vertical Slits: Cut small slits (20–30 cm long) in the centre—this engineered weak spot ensures a clean break when players burst through.
-
Wind-Proof Technique: On windy or rainy days, make multiple smaller slits so the banner doesn’t tear prematurely.
-
💡 Tips & Tricks
-
Single Weak Spot: Some players cut only one slit to save and display the torn banner—repair later with clear tape on the reverse.
-
Logo Preservation: Position your slit to one side of the mascot or logo so your club’s emblem stays intact and can be retained afterwards for display.
